Information we collect
Information you provide. We collect personal information about our visitors, generally limited to the kinds of information that can be found on a business card: first name, last name, organization, email address, as well as any information contained within user-inputted messages. We also retain information from our mailing list, specifically email addresses.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, our hosting provider, Netlify, records standard server log data, including your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. We also use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused service, to understand how the site is used. Plausible collects your page views, referring site, device and browser type, and approximate location (country, state, and city) derived from your IP address. Plausible does not use cookies, does not store your IP address, and does not track you across other websites; we see only aggregate statistics and cannot identify individual visitors.

Our website does not set cookies or use browser storage. We do not use advertising, tracking, or social media cookies.
How we use your information
We use your information to: respond to your inquiries, manage our mailing list and send you updates (only if you subscribe), and to maintain and improve our website.
Data retention

How we share your information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the website: Netlify, Inc., which hosts the site and receives contact form and newsletter submissions, and Plausible Insights OÜ, which provides our website analytics. If you subscribe to our newsletter, Updrafts, we may add your email address to the email platform we use to send it. Netlify is based in the United States; Plausible is based in and stores data in the European Union.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, request access to, or deletion of, your personal information, opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (we do not sell or share data), and to not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights. Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
